Innerspring with Latex Topper or all Latex Mattress

My boyfriend and I are currently in the process of purchasing a new mattress. I heard about your site from my mother who raved about your expertise in the subject.  
We are a young couple in our mis 20s. Both of us are back, front, and side sleepers who constantly switch positions throughout the night. We both have mild back pain and are hoping to find a great mattress that will prevent it from becoming a chronic condition.  
After researching your website and reading your blog, I know that a latex foam mattress and/or topper are best.   
We are interested in the Tri-Pedic mattress from selectabed.com which uses a combination of memory foam and latex. They also have a mattress that is completely made from latex foam. What do you think of this brand and type of mattress? Thanks For your advice!

Hi Nikki & Brad,
The latex mattress, you refer to, is not all latex. It has a poly foam core and is considered a latex hybrid. Their hype would have you believe that a latex core will wear faster than their poly foam core...which is nothing less than taking the facts and twisting the truth until it becomes an unrecognizable distortion...kinda like a political campaign.
Off brands always make themselves out to be a better choice. Usually, they aren't...and certainly not in this case.
You would be better off with a strong innerspring mattress and a latex topper, than latex on poly foam.
All latex is expensive...more expensive than most, but cheaper to use, as they last for decades.
