Stearns & Foster Hilary luxury firm mattress

Hi,
I am 24 years old, 5'9", about 300 pounds, and a L5-S1 herniated disc. I am a side sleeper, occasionally I sleep on my stomach(trying to break the habit!). I have shopped around and narrowed my sights to sealy posturepedic mountain vale firm($600), and Stearns & Foster Hilary luxury firm ($1200). Was wondering which one may be the better to get? Or if not one of those two, maybe something else that could be local.
Thanks, Laney

Hi Laney,
Getting any mattress to hold up under your weight will require the addition of a latex topper.
Latex is extremely comfortable and equally resilient. The topper will absorb much of your body weight, which will add years to the mattress you use under it.
Our most popular combination is the Stearns & Foster Heidi in luxury firm with a 2" latex topper.
For your size, I'd suggest the medium Talalay or the Dunlop...2" thick.
Our Heidi and Hilary are the same and is the better choice of the two you mentioned, but not your best choice. The Josette in ultra firm will do a better job of supporting a person of your size.
Delivery is free and there's no sales tax.
