Simmons Westin Heavenly Bed Mattress...too soft

That would be the memory foam doing that.
Are you able to return that one, or do you have to choose one from that store for exchange?
You can alter the feel of that mattress with a latex topper...creating a soft sleeping surface that you won't sink through...relieving all the pressure points.

The problem with today's mattresses is that they are comfortable for only a short while..partly because of all the memory foam used and partly because they are one sided. Also, you have a "Plush" Beautyrest, using a very thin gauge wire. This greater depth of softness is the back killer.
For firm support and a comfortable sleeping surface that also relives all the pressure point...and that lasts a good long time is a combination sleep system which includes a firm mattress and a soft latex topper.
Opt for any of the Simmons Beautyrest with a "firm" designation. Luxury Firm is a good choice...not too hard. Add to that, a 2" layer of soft latex to that and you have everything you had hoped for when you bought the one you have.
