Can we use a latex topper with our old mattress?

Yes. Many people have extended the use of their current mattresses by adding a latex topper.
It's, actually, an excellent idea. The topper will still be of use with the new mattress, when you finally have to buy one. So, the price of the topper never goes to waste.
