Hi Carolyn,
The mistake you made, was in choosing a soft mattress. The same model was available in 
Luxury Firm, and would have served you better. 
The soft one will send you to the doctor. The firmer one will not. 
What your body needs and what you give it can easily be two different things. The pity is, it doesn't have to be a choice that leaves you feeling deprived.

Recently, I have gone from a diabetic who was managing it with medication, to managing it with food instead. So far, I feel better, weigh less...and once past that first few days of cravings, happy with my food choices.
Same thing with a mattress. Your body requires firm support. You simply can't go around buying soft mattresses. What you can do is soften the surface of a firm mattress so that you have a comfortable sleeping surface. A soft layer of Talalay latex will provide all the comfort you want, without sacrificing the underlying support of the firm mattress.
