Simmons Beautyrest Abby Plush/Firm Euro Top Mattress

I took your advice and visited a local hometown furniture store to price and try out mattresses. I found one that I liked, but the owner said that the name had been changed and that I would have to order the equivalent. That worries me. I would like to find the name of the equivalent and also do some comparison price shopping. The bed that I found most comfortable was the Simmons Beautyrest Abby Plush Firm Euro Top.
Also, is it okay to keep the box springs from a previous mattress that was our last one (they are 13 years old)?

Hi Theresa,
Simmons changed their line as of April 1st. The specs changed for the better, using higher grade padding. The replacement for the Abby is a good mattress, but not quite the same.
You can try the new model at Macy's as the Arbor Terrace. We have it as the Lumberton.
Here is our link to that mattress. Delivery is free and there's no sales tax.

And no, it is not ok to use a 13 year old boxspring with any new mattress. You will lose the feel and the mattress will wear quicker and you'll lose the warranty.
