Hi Andrew,
The only hope you have to salvage the price you paid for that dog, is with the underside.
A 2" soft latex topper added to the flip side of your mattress is your best hope. The memory foam on the top side is shot and the latex will conform to impressions that are already there.
The way things are today, a soft layer of latex added to a reasonably firm mattress is your best value for support and comfort. So, even if this trick doesn't work for you, the topper is not wasted. You would simply use the topper on your next mattress.
However, we've been recommending this option first. It works often enough to try. After all, if it does work for you, you've put off the expense of a new mattress for quite some time...extending the value of the money you've already spent.
