I have a dormeo octaspring mattress 6500 it is considered medium but it feels very firm. I like the way it breathes and didn't want a coil mattress or temperpedic but this one is far too firm and their softer model is too soft. I would like to purchase a latex topper to soften it up from you. Could you please let me know which you would recommend Talatay or Dunlop and which feel? I have only seen and felt the soft dunlop which seems nice so not sure if that is the best one for me? Or I can purchase a new latex mattress but I do like the Dormeo in the way that it breathes just don't care for the memory foam part. Hi Cindy, It seems silly to buy a new mattress when all you need to do is soften the surface of the one you have. Dunlop is a denser material than Talalay. It's better suited for support. For comfort, you want to go with Talalay. The one we carry is 100% all-natural...US made. You have to say all that because there is also 100% natural, which is only 70% natural. The word "all" is the distinguishing word...and it's good to avoid latex made in China. Anyway, 2" of soft Talalay latex will transform your mattress into a very comfortable place to sleep.
