Hi Pete,
I’ve purchased from you several times for myself, my mom and my husband,
and we have all appreciated your help and quality products.
My mom is now 82 with dementia and moving into an assisted-living facility.
I am purchasing an adjustable bed for her.
She is 5’ 3” weighs about 160 pounds and has pretty good mobility.
Can you suggest a comfortable mattress that is appropriate for an adjustable bedframe? She currently has a hybrid latex mattress with a latex topper we bought from you.
What she has now is queen size, so it won’t work on this new smaller bed.
The adjustable bed that we will be purchasing, says the mattress height should be between 8-14”. I am thinking that should include any mattress topper, as well.
Any advice on what mattress we should purchase would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you,
Lisa
Hi Lisa,
It’s good to have you back.
In order to provide the same kind of support and comfort that your mom has been used to, the Eco-Terra Hybrid Latex Mattress in Medium Firm, (based on her size), and a 2” Soft Latex Topper from Latex for Less are my recommendations.
Everything is organic, so there’s no worries about off gassing.
The mattress measures 11”, so she’ll have 13” total height…14” if you go with a 3” topper, which is has a more luxurious feel over the 2” topper.
The topper is available with or without a cover.
I recommend including the organic cotton cover to go with it.
These are the most economical of these types of products without sacrificing quality. Here are the links you’ll need to shop those items:
Eco-Terra Hybrid Latex Mattress
Latex for Less Pure, Organic Latex Mattress Toppers
You’ll be buying factory direct. So you’ll need to order online through the links I sent you. Everything ships via UPS or FedEx…arriving in about 2 weeks, or so.
Tracking numbers are provided once they ship.
Let me know if you have any questions.
Thanks, Pete
