I thought the first was a fluke, based on how great the salesman said it would be. But now, it seems like I was lied to and this is a design flaw.

And while you’re explaining this, what is that chemical smell all about?

Hi Aaron,
It is a design flaw, in my opinion.
It’s specifically designed to soften as it warms from your body heat.
THIS, in and of itself, IS the design flaw.
It’s why it sags so quickly and why it sleeps hot.
Most are comprised of 61 different chemicals, which explains the smell.
There are some that are soy based and don’t smell, but you still have the other negative side effects to deal with.
There is one type that doesn’t do any of those nasty things…providing that comfortable contouring feel and doing so for many years without sagging because unlike traditional memory foam, it isn’t temperature sensitive…so there’s none of that sleeping hot nonsense. And, It’s chemical free, so there’s no smell.
It’s reasonably new to the US. They recently built a factory here to avoid paying tariffs. It’s been a high success throughout Europe for decades.
In fact it’s backed by Italian Design and Engineering.
