I’m happy to hear that the delivery went well.
Due to the very high coil count and the high quality of the components, all of the Natura Greenspring Mattresses feel firmer than their firmness designations make them sound. 
And, compared to the last one you bought, this one being new will seem a bit firmer at first. It’ll loosen up a little after a while.

If you would like to soften the surface, Latex for Less has the best prices on the highest quality latex toppers available anywhere since the pandemic ended.
2” is likely enough. 3” is a bit more luxurious. We use the 3” soft at home on our Natura Greenspring Mattress.
