I’m pleased that the solution for your mattress has worked out so well. I’ve never believed in spending more than is necessary…. neither yours nor mine.
In the case of a guest bedroom, I have a very inexpensive mattress that’s normally ideal. Since your guest bedroom will be occupied for extended periods, a more suitable mattress is a better value.
