A Topper for a Too Firm Tempurpedic Mattress.

My 6’3” skinny son this past Summer bought a Tempurpedic medium mattress and is now suffering from shoulder and back pain.

He is a combo sleeper in that he sleeps on his back and sides. 

He is Autistic and has sensory processing disorder.

It’s the memory foam, more than the degree of firmness, that’s creating his discomfort. Adding a topper will certainly make the mattress more comfortable, but not for long if you buy a topper made of memory foam.
