Which of the Beautyrest mattresses you would suggest now?
We like the idea of the mattress without the pillow top and adding the latex topper.
We currently have a Kluft mattress which feels and sleeps as hard as a brick, so we are anxious to find a good substitute.
My husband is 5'10" 125 lbs and I am 5' 128 lbs.

Before getting into the subject of a new mattress, have you considered getting a soft Latex Topper for the mattress you have?
Latex for Less has the lowest prices on the highest quality, Pure Organic and Hypoallergenic Latex Mattress Toppers.
If going that route, I recommend the 3” Soft and the organic cotton cover to go with it.

Since Simmons was sold to an investment group, they’ve changed the upholstery to the same cheap memory foam all of the other name brands are using. If fact, that same investment group that bought Simmons also bought Serta.
Sealy and Stearns & Foster are now owned by Tempurpedic.
Common memory foam is specifically designed to cause a mattress to need frequent replacing.
That’s less of a problem for people who weight a little as the two of you.
But, the highly toxic chemical off gassing of the memory foam is something that will affect you negatively.
We no longer recommend any name brand mattress to anyone for those reasons.
What I’m recommending for you is the same mattress my wife and I have been sleeping on for many years.
