Simmons Beautyrest Classic Mattress.

That is correct.
The quality dropped significantly after Simmons was sold.
Not only is it now a poor quality product, it’s a health hazard…all thanks to the memory foam upholstery they are now using. This common memory foam off gasses the toxic chemicals from which it is made.
Your mattress uses an individually pocketed coil unit, which contours to the shape of the body, maintaining the natural alignment of the spine. THIS is what relieves chronic back pain.
The lack of memory foam and the poly/latex is why it's still comfortable after all these years.
