Bad reviews about Memory Foam Mattresses.

Hi Pete,

I’ve read a lot of bad reviews about memory foam mattresses…not just on your blog, but in several other places online.
Naturally, we want to avoid the chemical off gassing and sleeping hot.
And, we would like our new mattress to last for, at least, 10 years.
What would you recommend?
Thanks, Alex
Hi Alex,
My first recommendation is for the Brolynn Old Fashioned Two Sided Mattress in Plush. Also available in Firm, the plush model has a more comfortable sleeping surface without sacrificing the same firm underlying support.
The individually pocketed coils contour to the shape of the body and maintain the natural alignment of the spine for excellent support.
The coils are made of heavy gauge double tempered steel for the durability you’re looking for.
The upholstery is natural plant based polyurethane foam.
There are no chemicals to off gas and no memory foam. So it sleeps cool.

You Should Know
Using an old box spring to support any new mattress will cause premature wear and void the manufacturer’s warranty.
A waterproof mattress protector will extend the life of a mattress by keeping the upholstery materials clean and dry.
