My recommendation is that you forget about buying a new mattress.
The quality of Sealy and all of the other name brands has dropped dramatically since being sold to investors.
You'd be appalled to learn that there isn't a Sealy mattress, today, that's worth buying.
You'd be lucky to get a couple of years from a new Sealy Posturepedic Mattress.
Yes, things have gotten THAT bad, in this industry.
The key phrase in your question is, "It is, STILL, supports well".
After 20 years, losing a little firmness is normal.
You bought the last great mattress that Sealy made.
In 2003, just a year after you bought your two sided Sealy Posturepedic, they became one sided.
10 years later, Sealy was sold to Tempurpedic.
Every Sealy mattress made, today, is upholstered with memory foam.
Memory foam is the worst upholstery material ever invented.
There is no memory foam in the mattress you have, which is why it lasted for such a long time.
My only suggestion is to add a latex topper to your mattress.
Latex is and has been the best upholstery material for the last 100 years..
Pure Latex is, both, extremely comfortable and equally longest lasting.
A latex topper will absorb your body weight and greatly retard any further wear of your mattress.
You'll want to hang on to that mattress for as long as you can.
