The time to add a latex topper is when the mattress is new.
My wife and I have home tested several mattresses over the years.
We had a luxury firm Black Beautyrest with a latex topper, purchased at the same time you bought yours.
We used it a few years and then gave it to our son and his wife, who have had it since.
It’s still in like new condition, thanks to the topper.
Adding a topper now is a huge waste of money.
The topper will simply conform to the impressions in the mattress.
The mattress we have now, we’ve had for 8 years.
It’s such a great mattress, we have no intention of giving it up.
