You bought that at Sleepy’s, who is no longer in business.
In 2013, Tempurpedic bought Sealy and S&F.
As of January 2014, S&F went from being “The Cadillac of the Industry” to nothing more than expensive junk....literally, overnight.
You bought your mattress at a time when it was difficult to buy a bad mattress.
Today, it’s equally difficult to buy a good one.
The culprit is memory foam.
All of the name brands have been sold to investors, and all are using memory foam to maximize profits.
Memory foam is specially designed to cause a mattress to need frequent replacing.
Your Newgate has no memory foam in it.
We had been a Sealy/S&F retailer for many years.
When Tempurpedic bought them, we stopped selling those brands.
We had to go shopping at the industry trade shows, to find high quality alternatives to the name brands.
Our search produced much higher quality mattresses from a couple of suppliers.
Natura of Canada Greenspring is what we found to replace the S&F line.
The quality of these mattresses exceeds that of the old S&F.
