These reviews are common with all Stearns and Foster mattresses, not just this one.
People who have owned S&F mattresses in the past will assume that the quality today is just as good.
It isn't. The Reason why?
S&F is now owned by Tempurpedic, who ae now upholstering everything they make with memory foam.
It's the memory foam causing the problems.
Memory foam is specifically designed to cause a mattress to need frequent replacing.
Older S&F mattresses, prior to being purchased by Tempur-Pedic, where very well made and lasted a good long time. Since then, they have gone form being considered, The Cadillac of the Industry, to nothing more than expensive junk.
S&F is not alone in this.
All of the name brands, that you could once trust to make a quality mattress, have been sold.
Sealy is also owned by Tempur-Pedic.
A separate investment group purchased Simmons and Serta,
All are now upholstered with memory foam.
And to add insult to injury, the memory foam they are using off gasses the toxic chemicals from which memory foam is made,
To make a successful mattress purchase, avoid any mattress made with memory foam.
