Hi Paula,
Both of those mattresses are well made and long lasting.
The Brandy-Lynn is only available in Firm and is a little thinner mattress than the Brolynn.
The Brolynn is available in Plush, which is in no way, too soft.
The Plush surface feel is a choice more in keeping with the needs of most female side sleepers.
