Since finding my blog and having read my previous responses, there should be no question in your mind, let alone posed to me, as to whether or not you should return that mattress.
UPS shipping is free and there’s no sales tax.
You should be outraged that a factory would make, and that a store would sell, a mattress that poisons the air you and yours are breathing.
Even without the off gassing of toxic, carcinogenic chemicals, you bought the wrong mattress for anyone with disc related back issues.
No all foam mattress, not even the best of them(latex)…let alone the worst of them(memory foam), will provide the support necessary to relieve pain caused by disc related back problems.
What is required is an individually pocketed coil unit that pushes back against your spine, providing firm contouring support that maintains the natural alignment of your body. That type of coil system and latex upholstery is the best you can do.
Avoiding any mattress upholstered with memory foam is the least you should do.
