Hi Jean,
It's the poly foam on top[ that has taken the body impressions.
Adding a latex topper to the top will help, but not ideal. The impressions will still be there, just not as bad.
Adding the 2" will make it more comfortable.
However, the ideal thing is to flip the mattress first, then add the 3" topper.
The underside has no poly foam, just firm latex.
Flipping it and adding the Pure Bliss 3" Plush Natural Talalay Latex Topper, will give you a new mattress...which will last longer than the 10 years you've already had it.
