Sealy Posturepedic Reserve Mattress, no longer being made.

Hi Pete,

We bought a Sealy Posturepedic Reserve Silk Hope mattress for my son, who is now 20 yrs old.

We bought it when he was about 8 years old. He loves this mattress.

He sleeps on his stomach and loves the plush feel, and the firm support.

I can’t find this series from Sealy anywhere. I'm assuming it's no longer being made.

Any thoughts on a mattress that is similar?

Hi Meg,

Your old Sealy has no memory foam in it, which is why it held up so well for so long.

You want to avoid any mattresses made with memory foam.

Memory foam wears poorly, sinks in, sleeps hot and off gasses the toxic chemicals from which it's made.

Sealy was sold to Tempurpedic in 2013.
Everything they make, today, is upholstered with memory foam.

And while there is nothing on the market that matches the specifications of you old Sealy mattress,

there are mattresses that are well made that produce a similar feel.

These Hybrid mattresses, from Wolf, provide excellent support, comfort and longevity...NO Memory Foam.

The Tulah Plush Eurotop has a bit more surface softness than the Adara Plush.
