Stearns and Foster mattress slept great for about 6 months.

Hi Pete,

We bought a king size mattress from a local store last August.  

I have significant back issues and I need something with support.  

They had a no refund policy but they did include a 6 month exchange plan.  

The first mattress was awful. Some Sealy product. Then, we switched it for a Stearns and Foster.  

It slept great for about 6 months.  

By the 8th month it has significant indentions and it feels like I’m sleeping on spikes.  

I was wondering if the latex topper may help or should I bite the bullet and buy a new mattress set?

Hi Tim,

S&F used to make a great mattress, before Tempurpedic bought them and Sealy.

A latex topper will work, but not as you may think.

The problem with these mattresses is the memory foam upholstery.

Flip that one-sided mattress over and then apply the latex topper for best results.

You’ll want a soft latex topper…3” being more comfortable than the 2”.
