That pillow was made by Natura and shipped to you directly from their factory in
Quebec Canada.
The Mattress Expert owns no manufacturing facilities.
If you had assumed that the product you bought would be identical to something you bought years ago, that erroneous assumption is to blame.
This industry makes changes to all its products on a regular basis.
That would be true for everyone of this industry’s manufacturers for, at least, the last half century…which is how long I’ve been in the business of selling their products.
Natura products had been made in Toronto.
After Natura was purchased by ZedBed, a few years ago, they moved their facility to Quebec.
For perspective, all of the 'name brand' mattress manufacturers have been sold and their products have changed dramatically since they were sold. Those changes have not been for the better.
Tempurpedic bought Sealy and Stearns & Foster.
A separate investment group bought Simmons and Serta.
Anyone 'stepping out of a time warp' from a previous purchase from several years ago, will find shopping for a comparable product to be nearly impossible.
