My wife cannot sleep on our Stearns and Foster Mattress.

Hi, Pete,

I'm hoping you can help with our dilemma.  We purchased a Stearns and Foster Hybrid Pollock mattress.
My wife cannot sleep on this mattress.
She sleeps on her stomach and complains that she wakes up with numbness, lower back ache, and a neck ache.
Since this mattress was already exchanged once, we are stuck with it.
Currently, my wife is sleeping in our guest bedroom.
We shopped locally, and tried a Serta Gladwyn mattress, which has only one inch of memory foam.
It felt comfortable in the store, however, we are hesitant to purchase this as we worry over the memory foam.
They also sell a Simmons Beautyrest Silver mattress.
We aren't sure whether to purchase the Serta or Beautyrest mattress.
We realize that memory foam is not the way to go, but we feel we need to make a decision.
Can you help us, as we would like my wife to, once again, sleep in our bedroom?
Many thanks, Michael

Hi Michael,
It’s the memory foam causing the back pain and numbness.
All name brand mattresses are upholstered with memory foam, since they were sold.
Tempur-Pedic bought Sealy and S&F. An investment group bought Simmons and Serta.
All of their mattresses will be a repeat of your current mistake.

I recommend the Wolf Hybrid Adara mattress, using a very strong individually pocketed coil and latex upholstery for good surface comfort that is firm enough for a stomach sleeper.
Here’s a link to that mattress.

You can use your current foundation, as it is very strong.

Shipping is free and there’s no sales tax.

Thanks, Pete

VERY IMPORTANT:
Keeping your mattress clean and dry will increase its longevity.
We recommend our Organic Cotton Waterproof Mattress Protector.
