Back Hurts on a Serta i-Comfort Mattress.

They advertised a comfort guarantee, but never mentioned the cost involved in making an exchange.

I just found out that it will cost me hundreds of dollars to exercise that option.

My back hurt from day one, on this mattress, and has only gotten worse. I sink into it. It's just too soft.

I'm now leery of doing any more business with these people, as they now come off as crocks.

Do you have a recommendation for a new mattress?

I already use a nice mattress pad.

Hi Lee,

Since your mattress is so knew, you may not need to buy anything.

Even though that mattress is made to be one-sided, the flip side is perfectly usable and considerably firmer.

Before determining if you need to buy anything, flip the mattress over and add your mattress pad back to it.

I did as you suggested, and it worked like a charm.

I got a full night's sleep and without any back pain.

I never would have thought to do this, and the store where I bought it never mentioned it.

In fact, I called them about this after getting you email. They said that it couldn't be done.

Anyway, I'm sleeping fine and can't thank you enough.

I'll be sure to refer you to anyone I find who needs a mattress or has a problem.

We recommend using a waterproof mattress protector with every mattress.

Keeping the upholstery materials clean and dry will extend the life of the mattress.
