Hi Pete,
We bought a Stearns and Foster Luxury Firm mattress only 1.5 years ago.
We spent over $4,000 for it, and it's just AWFUL.
It's become so uncomfortable, already sinking in spots.
An inspector came to the house and measured the depressions.
The result: none were deep enough to get an exchange. It was a total waste of money.
S&F used to be so good. We were replacing one we had for many years. What happened?
Thanks, Brian
Hi Brian,
Tempurpedic Bought Sealy and S&F in 2013 and loaded everything the make memory foam.
THAT's what happened.
Your old S&F had no memory foam in it.
Memory foam is specifically designed to cause a mattress to need frequent replacing.
And because it recovers when you get out of bed, you are highly unlikely to prevail in a warranty claim.
It truly is diabolical.
We had been a Sealy/S&F retailer for many years.
S&F had been considered "The Cadillac of the Industry" for many decades prior to them being sold.
Literally overnight, it went from being the best to nothing more than expensive junk.
We dropped both lines when those brands were sold to Tempurpedic.
The good news is, we found quality mattresses to take their places.
The Natura of Canada Greenspring Mattresses exceed the specification of anything S&F produced when they were still making a quality mattress.
My wife and I have the Ultra Plush model at home....which is the most comfortable in that line.
Despite each of us being over 200 lbs., our mattress is still in like new condition after 5 years...not so much as a dent in it.

These mattresses come with white glove delivery, which includes removal of your old mattress.
Delivery is free and there's no sales tax.
We recommend using a waterproof mattress protector with every mattress.
Keeping the upholstery materials clean and dry will extend the life of the mattress.
