Simmons Beautyrest Platinum Plush or Luxury Firm Mattress.

Hi Todd,
The difference is solely in the gauge of wire used to make the coils. 
For the same model, the upholstery layers are identical.
The thinner gauge wire used in their plush models creates a greater depth of softness and is the source of almost all the complaints they receive. Simply put, the thin gauge coil used in their plush models just does not last as long as the heavier gauge wire used in their luxury firm models...not nearly as long.

For this reason, you will not find Plush Beautyrests listed among the Beautyrests on our website.
Also missing from our list of available Beautyrests, are the pillowtop models, as the pillowtop part is the first thing to show wear.
When recommending a Beautyrest, we recommend a Pure Bliss 2" or 3" Plush Natural Talalay Latex Topper to go on one of the firmer, non-pillowtop models.
This sleep system combination provides long lasting support and comfort...much, much longer than what you'll experience with a plush or plush pillowtop model that is typically shot in only a year's time.
