Memory Foam vs. Latex Foam Mattress.

Doug writes:

Hi Pete,
I have been looking to purchase a memory foam mattress.
Online, they range from 6" to 13" thick.
I want something that is medium firm.
In your opinion, what is more suited for my needs and be durable overtime?
Would a latex foam mattress be better?
Thanks,  Doug

Hi Doug,
Contrary to what you've seen on TV, read in print ads, and heard preached at stores, memory foam is far and away, the absolute worst upholstery material ever invented for use in a mattress.
Besides off gassing the toxic chemicals from which it's made, it is very short lived.
Memory foam loses most of its support and comfort before the first year is out.
If durability is what you want, you're barking up the wrong tree.

Memory Foam is such a bad product, that we have chosen to not carry any memory foam mattresses.
If quality support, comfort and durability is what you're after, then consider Natural Talalay Latex.
Latex is and has been the best upholstery material for the last 100 years.

Natural Latex, is what we carry...and what we sleep on at home.
Here are the links to our most popular all Latex and Coil/Latex Hybrid Mattresses.

These mattresses come with White Glove Delivery, which includes Removal of your old mattress.

VERY IMPORTANT:
Keeping your mattress clean and dry will increase longevity.
Use our Organic Cotton Waterproof Mattress Protector.
Thanks, Pete
