A New King Mattress for My husband and I, and 3 ShihTzus.

Hi Pete,
My husband and I are getting ready to move into a new house, and it's time for a new mattress. 
We're finally going to get a king! Which will give us both and our 3 ShihTzus plenty of room. 
The only issue is what type of mattress to get.
We've always had standard coil type, recently added a 3" foam topper. 
The topper was nice, at first, but makes me miserably hot and I get stuck can't move - I hate it. 
I have MS, so getting hot is not good.  
I'm 5'6, 142 lbs, my hubby is 5'8, 190 lbs. 
We both toss and turn a lot at night, but I'm mostly a side and stomach sleeper and he's mostly either on his side or back, I think.  
Do you have any suggestions?

Hi Theresa,
The problem with your topper is that it’s memory foam.
Only memory foam sleeps hot.

There are a couple of excellent choices for people your size.
Both use an individually pocketed coil system, which maintains the natural alignment of the spine.
The independent movement of each coil provides limited motion transfer, so you don’t feel each other move. 

The first is the Simmons Beautyrest Platinum Gibson Grove Luxury Firm and a Latex Topper to go on it. 
The latex topper is imperative for the sake of durability.
Simmons Beautyrest mattresses are upholstered with memory foam.
Without the latex topper, the mattress will wear quickly...needing replacement after only a couple/few years.

The mattress we have at home, is the other option.
It’s a better mattress all around. There are more coils and they’re stronger.
The upholstery is natural Talalay Latex and contains no memory foam.
A latex topper isn’t necessary for durability.
