Moving a Simmons BeautyRest Hybrid Mattress and Boxsprings.

Dear Expert,
Thank you for being there.
In preparation for an out of state move, I don’t know how I should move our mattress.
It's a 2018 BeautyRest Silver Hybrid Kaysville Plush in king size.
Does it need to be flat and on top of the box springs?  
At first, I thought I would stand it up on end and put the 2 box set on the outside and rope it in place in the U-Haul.  
What do you think?  Individual coils might shift?

Hi Dave,
They should be stored flat if using a storage area.
The coils will shift if left on its side, long term.

To move from one bedroom to the bedroom in the new place, strapping the mattress to the side of truck.
Use the boxsprings on the inside to protect it from other cargo. It's is all you need do.
You can get a mattress bag at U-Haul.
You can further protect the mattress with a cardboard box...also available at U-Haul
