Simmons Beautyrest Black Extra Firm Calista and Latex Topper.

How long do you think the life of a good quality mattress will last, like a Simmons Beautyrest Black Calista Extra Firm? 
Would it really last as long as the 10 year warranty it has? 
It just seems to me that things will show wear and tear with years of use, regardless of what the manufacture says. 
I'm thinking 10 years max is more like it, before it starts to sink in the middle. Am I on the right track?
The salesperson, at Macy's, is claiming that their L-Class Extra Firm is better than the Calista at local retailers.
Is that true, or not?
A friend told me to never buy any mattress with a pillowtop.

Your friend is right!
The first thing to wear out is the pillowtop part of the mattress...showing body impressions almost immediately.
