What, exactly, is the difference between the extra firm and luxury firm Simmons Beautyrest Gibson Grove Mattresses?

Hi Joe,
Everything about those two mattresses is the same, except for the padding used at the surface, which creates a stiffer feel in the Extra Firm.
The Extra Firm is a good choice for more severe back damage, for durability under heavier people, or for back and stomach sleepers..
We recommend the Luxury Firm model for most people, who usually side sleepers.
