The primary factor that made your sleeping experience on that mattress so enjoyable, is the individually pocketed coil unit of the Simmons Beautyrest.
Each coil moves independently from the others...contouring to the shape of your body and maintaining the natural alignment of your spine...which is key to relieving pain.
THIS, would be true of any Simmons Beautyrest mattress you buy.
If you were to research reviews on this type of mattress, you’ll find that they aren’t very good. In fact, they’re horrible.
The reason why they are so bad is due to the lack of longevity.
The Plush models are made plush by using a thinner gauge wire to make the coils...much thinner than the wire used to make their firmer models.
With the steel being both, thin and not tempered, the plush models don’t last for more than a year, or so...less under a man your size.
Stores push the plush and pillowtop models because their initial comfort makes them easy to sell.
For this reason, we do not sell their plush and pillowtop models.
I will not take an order for one.
If you insist on replicating that mattress, go to any Simmons retailer and ask for:
“a plush Silver Series Beautyrest“.
If you want what you want, and you would like it to last enough years to get your money’s worth out of it, then you’ll forget all that and follow my recommendation.

I suggest using a waterproof mattress protector with every mattress.
