Hi Nev,
If you look online at reviews for Simmons Beautyrest, you'll see that they are horrible.
The reason why they are so bad, is from all of the plush and pillowtop models sold.
They are the biggest sellers, as they are the most comfortable...initially.
The plush models use a very thin gauge wire for the coils, and the upholstery is memory foam.
Both of these components are seductively comfortable and perform horribly,
Buy that mattress, and you'll be buying something else within a year's time.
Forget the warranty. It's worthless.
The memory foam is designed to fail quickly and return to it's original shape when you get out of bed. It won't measure the sustained impression necessary to prevail in a warranty claim.
The coils are very weak...thin wire and raw, not tempered steel.
