A Warning About Clearance Center Mattresses.

We bought a Marina Isle, Sealy Posturpedic Signature Luxury Plush Euro Pillowtop Mattress in Queen Size, many years ago.  
We liked it so much that we recently bought another in a King Size.  
I noticed right away that the King was much softer and you sunk in deeper.  
My husband being 200 lbs sinks in 8 inches.  
When I sleep next to him I sink into his gully and if I stay there too long I will get a hip ache or a stiff neck or sore back. 
So, I usually do not sleep too close to him.  
This did not happen with the Queen Size and it feels much firmer where you do not sink in.  
It was set up correctly. Do you think they missed a layer of firmness inside the mattress? You can see the indent on his spot.  It does not seem to bother him.  I weigh 135 lb. Please let me know, if you can, what happened.  
The store, where we bought it, is no help.

Hi Joan,
The Signature Series Posturepedics were discontinued by Sealy in June of 2011.
To buy one today, it would have to come from a clearance center, of some kind.
When mattresses are returned to the factory, they are sent back due to some sort of defect. 
The factory then bags them and sells them as salvage bedding for pennies on the dollar, to stores that deal in these kinds of mattresses. 
Salvage bedding does not come with a manufacturer's warranty.
And, all sales are final.
I'm sorry to be the one to tell you that you've thrown your money away on a used, defective mattress...the kind of information that is not usually disclosed at the time of sale.
Your only solution is to start over...with a reputable retailer selling first quality, new mattresses.

ALSO IMPORTANT:
I suggest using a waterproof mattress protector with every mattress.
