A mattress for my small elderly parents.

Hi Sherri,
These mattresses use a tempered steel, individually pocketed coil unit.
Each coil moves independently from one another.
This provides contouring support that maintains the spine’s natural alignment.
The upholstery is all natural latex, which is chemical free and extremely durable,
which provides long lasting surface comfort.
A side benefit is that motion transfer is greatly reduced.
They are far less likely to feel each other move or feel each other getting in and out of bed, during the night.

Here are you two best options for foundations to support the mattress.
The Easy Fit Foundation and The Basic Black Platform Bed.
Both assemble easily.
The Easy Fit Foundation will require a bed frame to support it.
The Basic Black Platform Bed does not. This option also provides extra under bed storage space, and is the lesser expensive of the two.

ALSO IMPORTANT:
I suggest using a waterproof mattress protector with every mattress.
