Natura Of Canada Greenspring Pocketed Coil and Latex Mattresses.

Hi Pete,
Thanks, very much, for the quick reply!
While my wife and I are still young, she has had surgery for a herniated disc, thankfully with no lasting effects a few years later.

Regarding the Natura of Canada Greenspring models you shared,

Greenspring Liberty Plush Euro Top. Experience deeper, more restorative sleep with the Liberty Plush Euro Mattress. Lush helpings of natural ingredients come together ...
1) what would be the factors when deciding whether to go with a Euro top model?
2) Is Plush middle of the road firmness?
3) Do the firmness levels describe just the coil support or does that include the latex layer?
4) These models appear to have a 1" layer of a plant based foam. How does this other foam compare? Does it fall somewhere on the latex-memory foam scale?

How would you grade the following mattress against similar ones you sell?
To my untrained eye, it resembles the Natura model. The differences I noticed are they use Dunlop latex and the coils are encased in fabric, not foam.

Also, I saw latex pillows on your site. What suggestions do you typically offer for those?
Thanks again, Kyle

HI Kyle,
All of the components in the Natura of Canada Greenspring mattresses are of the highest quality and density.
As a result, none of them are as soft as they sound.
The plush model is firm, the firm model is hard, the ultra plush model has a medium feel, and the most comfortable is the plush eurotop.
Nothing in that line can be considered "too soft".

The individually pocketed coil system is available from a large number of manufacturers...all a little different from one another.
Simmons Beautyrest was the 1st of this type. Simmons uses raw steel for the coils. The steel is not tempered.
From Natura of Canada, the steel from which the coils are made, is twice tempered.
From the PlushBeds link you sent me, it doesn't say if the coils are or aren't tempered.
For durability and longevity, the tempering of the steel makes all the difference.
All pocketed coiled mattresses are encased in fabric...none in foam.

Talalay Latex is more expensive to make than Dunlop.
The extra freezing step suspends the particles....making Talalay Latex more supple.
Dunlop is better as a support layer, as it is more dense. Talalay is the better choice for surface comfort.

There are two 1" layers of plant based poly foam in the Greenspring mattresses.
One layer is used in the quilted cover. You can't quilt latex.
The other is a high density support layer, under the latex.

The two latex pillows, at the top of the page, are the most popular. Latex pillows remain like new a long time, lasting for years...unlike most other materials used to make pillows.

Superior support, comfort and durability. Pure Talalay Bliss Soft Talalay Pillow is the softest The Talalay/Down Pillow is ideal for relieving chronic neck
The 1st is soft and comfy.
The 2nd is made of finely chopped latex, that allows you to manipulate the material to mold around your head and neck anyway you like.
The 2nd pillow is ideal for relieving chronic neck pain.
I have arthritis on the left side of my neck. Prior to finding this pillow, a couple or so years ago, I just suffered with it.
It's amazing how well this pillow works for relieving neck pain of all sorts.
