Talalay Global Latex Topper to Soften a Too Firm Mattress.

I currently have a Simmons BeautyRest Black Desiree Luxury Firm king mattress and am looking for a latex topper to add a bit more comfort. 
My wife and I are both in our early 30's and weigh 195 lbs and 130 lbs respectively. 
I want to buy a high quality latex topper and am set on Latex International brand known as Talalay Global. Do you have any experience with this product? 
I sleep pretty hot and am wondering if the 2" soft version of this product would be good for us.

Hi Corey,
My wife and I had the Ansleigh plush/firm, (an older version of your Desiree), with a 2" soft Talalay latex topper and it worked great. 
It provided lots of extra comfort and pressure point relief for my wife's sore hip.
