My husband and I slept on a Sealy Posturepedic Monogram 600 mattress at a hotel, recently.
It was the best night's sleep I've had in years.
I have bulging discs, which create back pain. I also have neck pain, which I haven't been able to relieve with any pillow I've tried.
I've been reading your blog and I see that you have a mattress you recommend as an equivalent to the Monogram 600.
I've also read how my desk job might be the reason why I'm in so much pain at a reasonably young age, 54.
We are average size people, my husband and I.

The Sealy mattress, you asked about, is no longer being made. Tempurpedic owns Sealy and everything they make is now loaded with memory foam.
That mattress used an interlocked coil system and it was upholstered with polyurethane foam.

Your bulging disc come from your desk job...and you discs will continue to deteriorate with you spending so much time in a seated position.
This type of coil unit will do the best job of supporting discs that are wearing...retarding the rate of wear.
Another thing that helps, is a 30 minute walk each day.
