Hello Pete,
Some years ago, we bought a Stearns & Foster Italian Garden Villa latex mattress. Within a year there were significant body impressions.
S&F did, in fact, replace the mattress, but we are again experiencing the same problem and we've decided to give up on S&F.
I prefer firm and my wife a more plush feel, but we're not sure where to turn now. I notice that you don't carry S&F any longer...what are our best options?

Hi Paul,
It's the poly foam on the top of the latex in that S&F mattress, that causes the body impressions.
When Tempurpedic bought Sealy and S&F, they loaded everything they make with memory foam. That is why we no longer carry those brands.
We are offering higher quality merchandise. Latex is the best material available. Adding poly foam or memory foam to latex reduces its quality and value.
The mattress you have now can be salvaged, if you're interested.
The underside of your mattress is a medium/firm latex core. Flip your mattress over and add to it a 2" layer of soft Talalay latex for comfort.
The latex topper is a whole lot less expensive than a new mattress and works like a charm...extending the use of your mattress for another several years.
