Purasleep memory foam mattress on Groupon.

Hi Ed,
Initially, it sounded like you had already pulled the trigger, and I didn't want to bum you out by raining on your parade...so to speak.
Memory foam is the biggest selling type of mattress on the market and the absolute worst choice you could make....for a number of reasons.
It sleeps hot, loses its support within months, doesn't allow you to change positions without fully waking up, totally shot within a year or so...depending on your body weight.
It's a temperature sensitive material that softens, then sinks, then flattens out after it warms from the heat your body radiates.
Besides being a lousy product, it's also dangerous. It's comprised of 61 different chemicals....some, of which, are toxic and a couple of them are cancer causing. 
The bad odor that comes with it, Is it off gassing these toxic chemicals. The off gassing is more than just a bad smell, it attacks your respiratory system.
Lots of people are making money selling this garbage, so you'll hear more about how wonderful it is than you will the straight dope about how bad it is.
Also, it is typical in the mattress industry to inflate prices before giving a huge discount. 
Given that memory foam is cheaply made worthless junk, $600 is still a lot of money for what you'll get....next year's trash.
In short, don't do it. It's a total waste of money.
