Hi Barbara,

The 1st thing to try is a water free stain lifter, like K2R.

A light scrubbing with plain soap and water would be the next thing to do, if needed.

If there is an odor involved, use Fabreeze if the odor isn't strong.

You can get something stronger at a pet store, if needed.

Any liquid used, must be thoroughly dried. A hair dryer work well for that.

And once clean, protect your mattress from accidents with a waterproof mattress protector.
The best I've found...one that works, sleeps cool, make NO noise and won't shrink when washed in hot water...is by Danican.
