Hello Peter,
We purchased a queen platform bed for our son who is 4, (a bed for him to grow into).
We have tried a couple of innerspring mattresses, both ending up feeling too firm.
There's not much give for me in particular, just reading in bed with him for short periods of time is not comfortable.
Had heard that innerspring mattresses can perform like that on platform beds - just more firm than on a box spring.
What we have currently is a Beautyrest Golden Gate pillow top firm.
Wondering if a mattress topper can solve our comfort issues? And if so, latex, memory foam or something else?
I'm also open to swapping the mattress itself, say to a memory foam or other material (though would prefer to avoid that if possible).

Conversely, Latex is all natural and has been the best, (Most comfortable and longest lasting), upholstery material for the past 100 years.
