Serta icomfort Applause II mattress sleeps hot and needs a latex topper.

We have only had this Serta iComfort Applause II mattress 11 months and we are dreading the warmer months because it is memory foam and sleep hot.  
Which of your toppers do you recommend?
We also have a 20 year old spring mattress at a cabin that needs a topper too.  Which one do you recommend?  
The cabin is not heated in the winter and does get musty in the summer.
