Memory foam is low quality upholstery material that is purposefully designed to require frequent replacing.
At 250, that becomes even more frequent.
Advertising and store salespeople talk about memory foam as though it were the best thing since sliced bread.
They do so because it's good for them, with lots of money to be made...not because it's any good or good for you.
Your Stearns & Foster should provide you enough evidence of that.
Sealy & S&F are now owned by Tempurpedic. We stopped being Sealy/S&F dealers once they loaded all their mattresses with memory foam.
The hybrids you're talking about are all memory foam and even worse in the long run.
The Simmons Beautyrest Black models are also loaded with memory foam, and require a latex topper to keep their shape.
We have a much better option for you.
Natura of Canada's Greenspring line of mattresses uses a pocketed coil mattress that is upholstered with natural Talalay Latex.
Latex is and has been thee best upholstery material available for the last 100 years....as opposed to memory foam which has proven itself to be the absolute worst upholstery material in its 20 year history.
