Hi Pete,


I was just notified by Simmons that they will replace my bed, mattress only they say. 


I had just purchased a Simmons Beautyrest Classic Plush Euro Pillowtop Mattress Set and it has sagged. 


The mattress started sagging in the middle after only a month. 


But anyway, they're giving me a replacement value of $899 to replace to replace it. 


I don't want to make the same mistake twice, and I most certainly don't have two-grand to purchase a high end. 


Can you help me find a retailer where I can purchase a Simmons® mattress for around $900.

Hi Douglas, 
The mistake you made, initially, was in choosing a plush pillowtop. The gauge of wire used in the "plush" models is very thin and loses its shape right away.
The first thing to show wear is the pillowtop, When buying a Simmons, it's imperative that you get a "luxury firm", which provides better support by using a much heavier gauge wire for the coils. In lieu of a pillowtop, use an Ever-Eden 2" Soft Talalay Latex Mattress Topper. This provides surface comfort that is superior to the feel of the pillowtop, and will last a for many years.
