Hi Ingrid,
Like most mattresses, the Natura Greenspring models are one sided.
And while you wouldn't normally flip a one sided mattress, you should rotate it regularly.
There are no handles. The weight for the queen Liberty in firm is 125 lbs.
The mattress measures 12" thick.
Note: All mattress thicknesses can vary slightly.
You can use this mattress on the foundation that is made for it, a platform bed with the proper center support, and with an adjustable bed base.
Or, if you've a notion to do so, put it right on the floor.
